Apple Pie Bombs (Print-Friendly Version)

Biscuit dough wraps caramel apples, baked to a golden crust and topped with cinnamon sugar.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Dough and Filling

01 - 1 can (462 g) refrigerated biscuit dough
02 - 8 caramel candies
03 - 2 apples, chopped finely
04 - 2 tablespoons (25 g) brown sugar
05 - Pinch of salt
06 - 1 teaspoon (2 g) ground cinnamon
07 - 1 tablespoon (14 g) unsalted butter

→ Finishing

08 - Cinnamon sugar, to taste
09 - 2 tablespoons (28 g) melted unsalted butter

# How to Make It:

01 - Put in the heated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until they're golden and thoroughly cooked.
02 - Start by preheating the oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a medium baking dish with cooking spray.
03 - Generously sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the top of the dough balls.
04 - Lay the shaped dough balls in the greased baking dish. Brush them with the melted butter.
05 - In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Stir in the chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook it all, stirring now and then, until the apples soften, about 5 minutes. Let it cool a little after that.
06 - Take the biscuits from the can and carefully stretch each one into a circle. Put 1 tablespoon of the apple mixture in each dough circle. Top with one caramel candy.
07 - Pinch the dough's edges together to close off the filling. Roll each piece gently into a smooth round ball.
08 - Move the baked apple bombs to a serving platter. Enjoy them warm.

# Extra Information:

01 - Let the apple mixture cool a bit before you start assembling. This helps keep the dough from getting too soft.
