Bacon Cheeseburger Quesadillas (Print Version)

Golden tortillas filled with beef, maple-glazed bacon, and melty cheese for a quick handheld bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 large tortillas made with flour
02 - 1 lb finely crumbled ground beef
03 - 1½ cups of shredded American or cheddar cheese
04 - 1 cup bacon pieces, cooked and crispy
05 - Pepper, as much as you'd like
06 - Salt to your taste preference
07 - ½ tsp of onion powder
08 - ½ tsp of garlic powder
09 - 2 to 3 tbsp maple syrup
10 - Butter or spray oil, for cooking
11 - Extras: caramelized onions, mustard drizzle, or sliced pickles

# Steps:

01 - Spread your tortillas flat. On one side, arrange in layers: some cheese, beef mixture, more cheese, and any extras you like, such as mustard drizzle or pickles. Fold the tortillas shut.
02 - Brown the ground beef in a skillet along with the garlic powder, onion powder, a pinch of salt, and some black pepper. Pour off any extra grease when it's done.
03 - Toss the crispy bacon into the beef. Give it a little drizzle with the maple syrup, and mix gently to coat everything evenly.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium heat with butter or oil spray. Cook each folded tortilla until the outside gets golden brown and crunchy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
05 - Allow the quesadillas to cool slightly before slicing them into wedges. Offer them alongside maple syrup or any dipping sauce you prefer.
