Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray to keep it from sticking. Throw the bread cubes into the bottom and spread them out.

Scatter the cheddar cheese over the bread. Then spread the bacon pieces evenly on top.

Beat the eggs until smooth. Stir in the milk, dry mustard, and salt (if using). Pour this mixture evenly over everything in the pan.

Cover the pan and stick it in the fridge overnight.

Take the cold dish out of the fridge while preheating the oven to 350°F. Bake for 30-45 minutes uncovered, until the middle isn’t wobbly.
