Bacon Egg Cheese Bake (Print Version)

Soft eggs, crispy bacon, cheddar, and bread baked into a satisfying breakfast the whole family will love.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon dry mustard
02 - 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
03 - 2 cups milk
04 - 10 eggs
05 - 5 slices of bread, cubed and dried
06 - 1 1/4 pounds of bacon, cooked and cut up
07 - 1 1/4 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
08 - chopped chives for topping (if desired)

# Steps:

01 - Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray to keep it from sticking. Throw the bread cubes into the bottom and spread them out.
02 - Scatter the cheddar cheese over the bread. Then spread the bacon pieces evenly on top.
03 - Beat the eggs until smooth. Stir in the milk, dry mustard, and salt (if using). Pour this mixture evenly over everything in the pan.
04 - Cover the pan and stick it in the fridge overnight.
05 - Take the cold dish out of the fridge while preheating the oven to 350°F. Bake for 30-45 minutes uncovered, until the middle isn’t wobbly.

01 - Dry bread works best to keep the casserole firm and not mushy.
02 - Need more servings? Add a little extra bread and eggs to stretch it out.
