BBQ Bacon Cheese Mountain (Print Version)

Crispy fries smothered in melted cheese, smoky bacon, and rich BBQ sauce. Comfort food at its best.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 big russet potatoes
02 - 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
03 - 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
04 - 2 cups of frozen fries
05 - ¼ cup of sour cream
06 - ½ cup of barbecue sauce
07 - ½ tsp of black pepper
08 - ½ tsp of salt
09 - 1 tsp of paprika
10 - 2 tablespoons of chopped green onions

# Steps:

01 - Get your oven hot by setting the temperature to 425°F (220°C).
02 - Put frozen fries on a sheet pan and bake them until they turn crispy and golden, about 25 to 30 minutes.
03 - As the fries are baking, cook bacon strips until crunchy. Place them on paper towels to drain and then break them into crumbs.
04 - Move the hot fries to a big plate. Sprinkle them with bacon crumbs and shredded cheddar cheese.
05 - Drizzle barbeque sauce over the fries, bacon, and cheese. Pop the plate back in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
06 - Take the plate out of the oven, add sour cream, green onions, paprika, salt, and pepper on top. Dig in while it’s warm!

# Notes and Tips:

01 - To make sure the fries come out extra crunchy, bake them longer than the original time or double-cook them.
02 - Try swapping cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack if you want a different flavor.
03 - Pre-cooked bacon can save you time if you prep it earlier and store it.
