Warm up your griddle. Pop the meat balls on and press them flat with a spatula. Flip a couple of times until the edges crisp up. On the last flip, brush mustard on top and finish cooking them through.

Layer each patty with cheese, crispy bacon, and caramelized onions. Once the cheese melts, place them on toasted buns spread with spicy mustard. Serve right away.
04 -
Lay out bacon slices on a rack set over a baking sheet. Start with a cold oven and heat to 350°F. Mix black pepper, chili powder, and syrup. Brush the syrup mix on while baking. Allow to cool when done.
05 -
Chop the onions into small pieces. Cook them slow and steady in a pan with butter over low heat. Stir in a drizzle of maple syrup and black pepper. Keep cooking until they’re soft and golden.
