Bacon Cheeseburger Rolls (Print Version)

Golden bites of bacon, beef, and cheddar, mixed with tomato, bring a fun twist to classic burger flavors.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 2 tbsp olive oil
02 - ¾ cup warm water
03 - 1 tsp salt
04 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
05 - 1 packet instant yeast (roughly 2 ¼ tsp)
06 - 1 tbsp sugar

→ Filling

07 - Salt and pepper, adjust to taste
08 - 1 lb lean ground beef
09 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
10 - 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
11 - ½ cup diced tomato, drained
12 - 1 cup chopped onion

# Steps:

01 - Blend flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a big bowl. Pour in olive oil and warm water, stirring until it starts turning into dough. Take the dough out onto a floured counter and knead until nice and soft. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
02 - In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it turns brown. Add a bit of salt and pepper for flavor. Drain any extra grease, then put the beef aside.
03 - Roll your dough into a rectangle. Evenly sprinkle the beef, bacon, onion, tomato pieces, and cheddar over the dough. Roll it up tightly like a log, then slice into 12 even pieces.
04 - Place the slices snugly in a greased dish. Cook in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for around 25 minutes or until beautifully golden.
05 - Give them a chance to cool down a bit before serving. Add any sauces or toppings you like when eating.
