# Ingredients:

→ Banana Cake

01 - 1⅓ cups mashed bananas
02 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice, divided
03 - 1½ cups milk
04 - 3 cups all-purpose flour
05 - ½ tablespoon baking soda
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt
07 - ⅔ cup butter, softened
08 - 1 cup white sugar
09 - ½ cup brown sugar
10 - 3 large eggs
11 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Frosting

12 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
13 - ⅓ cup butter, softened
14 - 3 - 3.5 cups powdered sugar

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
02 - Combine 1 tablespoon lemon juice with 1½ cups milk. Set aside.
03 - Mix mashed bananas with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Set aside.
04 - Using a mixer, combine softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until light and fluffy.
05 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
06 - Add half of the dry mixture and half of the milk mixture to the creamed mixture. Mix gently until just combined.
07 - Add the remaining dry and milk mixtures. Mix just until combined. Carefully fold in the banana mixture.
08 - Grease a 9x13 inch cake pan and pour in the prepared batter.
09 - Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Do not overbake.
10 - Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
11 - Mix cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar until the desired consistency is reached.
