Beef Cheddar Sandwiches (Print-Friendly Version)

Tender beef, zesty sauce, and cheddar on toasted onion rolls make this the perfect homemade sandwich.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Beef and Seasonings

01 - 900-1350 g chuck roast
02 - 360 ml Arby's sauce, plus extra for serving
03 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
04 - 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
05 - 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning

→ Assembly

06 - 6 onion rolls
07 - 240 ml cheddar cheese sauce

# How to Make It:

01 - Put the chuck roast in the bottom of a 6-litre slow cooker.
02 - Sprinkle the dried minced onion and Montreal steak seasoning over the meat. Then, drizzle Worcestershire sauce and Arby's sauce on top.
03 - Cover it and let it cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the meat's fork-tender.
04 - Use two forks to shred the roast, mix it back into the sauce, and set your slow cooker to warm for serving.
05 - Heat the cheddar cheese sauce in a microwave-safe container until it's nice and hot.
06 - Add the shredded beef on top of the onion rolls, drizzle with the heated cheese sauce, and top with extra Arby's sauce if you want.

# Extra Information:

01 - For a fancier version, toss in sliced tomato, lettuce, and some mayo.
02 - Can't find Arby's sauce? Use a spicy barbecue sauce instead.
03 - You can swap the cheese sauce for shredded or sliced cheddar; it will melt with the heat.
04 - Give the buns a light toast for a better crunch.
05 - Onion rolls can be replaced with any type of buns or slider rolls for smaller treats.
06 - Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to three days.
07 - Keep an eye on the slow cooker; times may vary and you might need to adjust for doneness.
