01 -
Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion, seasoning with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, cilantro, and cayenne. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up the meat, until beef is fully browned. Drain any excess fat, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
02 -
Lay out each burrito-size tortilla. Spread a thin layer of chipotle sauce and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese in the centre. Add a generous scoop of the beef mixture and place a tostada shell on top.
03 -
Spread sour cream over the tostada. Add shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes evenly on top.
04 -
Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla toward the centre, creating pleats to form a sealed wrap around the filling. Press to secure the seam.
05 -
Place the assembled crunch wrap seam-side down onto the heated griddle. Cook on low heat for 2–3 minutes per side until both surfaces are golden brown and crisp.
06 -
Slice in half if desired and serve immediately with taco sauce on the side.
