Crispy golden pastry stuffed with smooth cheese and sweet berries, topped with a light sugar sprinkle.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, defrosted

→ Cream Cheese Filling

02 - 113 g cream cheese, room temperature
03 - 60 g powdered sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Blueberry Filling

05 - 150 g fresh blueberries
06 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
07 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice

→ Egg Wash

08 - 1 egg
09 - 1 tablespoon milk

→ Finishing

10 - Powdered sugar, for sprinkling (if you want)

# How to Make It:

01 - Turn your oven to 200°C. Put parchment paper on your baking tray.
02 - Grab a bowl and mix your soft cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until it's nice and smooth. Put it aside for now.
03 - In another bowl, mix your blueberries with the cornstarch and lemon juice so they're all covered nicely.
04 - Dust your counter with a bit of flour. Roll the pastry out to about 30x40 cm. Then cut it into 8 pieces, each around 10x15 cm.
05 - Put a spoon of cream cheese mix right in the middle of each pastry piece. Add some blueberry mix on top.
06 - Fold the pastry edges over your filling to make little packets. Press the edges down so they stay closed.
07 - Stir the egg and milk together in a small bowl. Brush this mix over your pastries to help them get golden.
08 - Put your pastries on the tray and bake for about 15–18 minutes until they've puffed up and turned golden.
09 - Move your pastries to a wire rack to cool down a bit. Sprinkle with extra powdered sugar before eating if you'd like.

# Extra Information:

01 - Make sure your cream cheese isn't cold or you'll end up with lumps.
02 - Work quickly when handling the pastry so it doesn't warm up too much before baking.
