Best Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
02 - ½ cup granulated sugar
03 - ½ cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
04 - 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
05 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
06 - ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
07 - ½ cup melted browned butter
08 - 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
09 - ¼ cup Greek yogurt
10 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - 3 small overripe bananas, mashed
12 - 1 cup nuts, chopped, divided

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350°F). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a big bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and nutmeg.
03 - In another bowl, combine the browned butter, eggs, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas. Mix until creamy and well combined.
04 - Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredient mixture and mix until just combined. Fold in half of the chopped nuts.
05 - Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the rest of the nuts on top. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
06 - Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm. Enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - To enhance the flavor, use overripe bananas with brown spots for sweeter and moister bread.
02 - Brown butter adds a nutty flavor to the bread. Melt ¾ cup of butter, heat on medium while stirring, and remove when golden.
03 - Mix wet and dry ingredients just until combined to avoid a dense texture.
04 - Customize by adding chocolate chips, dried fruits, or a swirl of peanut butter.
05 - Start checking for doneness at 50 minutes due to variance in ovens.
06 - Let the bread cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes in the pan before slicing.
