Homemade Cream Cheese Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Rolls

01 - 1 cup milk, heated to 110 degrees F
02 - 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
03 - 1 large egg, room temperature
04 - 2 Tbsp melted butter, divided
05 - 4 Tbsp granulated sugar
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 3 cups all-purpose flour, plus 2-4 tbsp

→ Filling

08 - 6 Tbsp softened butter
09 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
10 - 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

→ Cream Cheese Frosting

11 - 4 Tbsp softened butter
12 - 4 oz softened cream cheese
13 - 2 tsp vanilla extract
14 - 1 cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk warm milk, yeast, egg, 1 Tbsp melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix in flour until no longer sticky. Knead 3 minutes. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
02 - Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
03 - Roll dough to 17x10 rectangle. Spread filling, roll lengthwise, cut into 8 rolls using dental floss.
04 - Place rolls in 9x13 pan, cover and rise 30 minutes. Brush with remaining butter. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes.
05 - Beat butter, cream cheese, and vanilla. Slowly mix in powdered sugar until combined.
06 - Spread frosting over slightly warm rolls.
