Best Pecan Pie Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cobbler Base

01 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
02 - 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
03 - ⅔ cup granulated sugar
04 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
05 - ½ teaspoon salt
06 - ⅔ cup milk
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Topping

08 - 2 ½ cups chopped pecans
09 - 1 ⅓ cups brown sugar
10 - 1 ½ cups boiling water

→ Optional

11 - Ice cream, for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 390°F (200°C). Place the butter in a small baking dish and put it in the oven to melt. Once melted, remove it from the oven.
02 - In a large bowl, sift together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk and vanilla extract, then whisk until everything is combined smoothly.
03 - Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the baking dish with the melted butter, distributing it evenly without mixing.
04 - Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the batter. Then, sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top of the pecans.
05 - Carefully pour the boiling water evenly over the entire cobbler, being careful not to stir.
06 - Place the baking dish back in the oven and bake for about 25-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is set. Serve warm, topped with optional ice cream and caramel sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Melt the butter in the oven while preheating to save time and get the dish hot for the batter.
02 - Avoid stirring the batter after dropping it over the melted butter to create the classic cobbler texture with crispy edges and a gooey center.
03 - Spread the pecans evenly so each serving has a crunchy, nutty flavor.
04 - Pour boiling water gently and evenly to create the sauce under the cobbler and a crisp top.
