Brownie Waffles Treat (Print-Friendly Version)

Indulgent chocolate waffles with peanut butter and chocolate chips for a lighter start to your day.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - About 20 g of creamy peanut butter, sugar-free and heaping
02 - A large egg
03 - Unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons (4 g)
04 - Optional monkfruit sweetener, 2 teaspoons (8 g)
05 - A pinch of fine sea salt
06 - 1 1/2 tablespoons (15 g) of sugar-free semi-sweet chocolate chips, set aside
07 - Water, 1 to 2 teaspoons (5–10 ml), if needed

# How to Make It:

01 - Pour half of the batter into the hot waffle maker. Top with half of the reserved chocolate chips. Close it up and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, till the steam dies down and the waffle is cooked through.
02 - Gently take out the waffle and then do the same with the leftover batter and chocolate chips.
03 - Grab a medium bowl and mix together the peanut butter, egg, cocoa powder, salt, and monkfruit sweetener if you’re using it. Also, add 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips. Keep stirring until you have a smooth mixture.
04 - If the mix seems too thick, pour in water slowly, one teaspoon at a time, until it’s thick yet pourable.
05 - Heat up the mini waffle maker as per the instructions that came with it.

# Extra Information:

01 - Use the full amount of monkfruit sweetener for a sweeter waffle.
02 - Let the waffle maker heat up for a bit between batches to keep it crisp.
03 - These waffles are best enjoyed right away for the best texture.
