Pour half of the batter into the hot waffle maker. Top with half of the reserved chocolate chips. Close it up and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, till the steam dies down and the waffle is cooked through.

Gently take out the waffle and then do the same with the leftover batter and chocolate chips.

Grab a medium bowl and mix together the peanut butter, egg, cocoa powder, salt, and monkfruit sweetener if you’re using it. Also, add 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips. Keep stirring until you have a smooth mixture.

If the mix seems too thick, pour in water slowly, one teaspoon at a time, until it’s thick yet pourable.

Heat up the mini waffle maker as per the instructions that came with it.
