01 -
Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
02 -
Whisk warm milk and room-temperature eggs together. Ensure the mixture temperature is around 110°F after combining. If necessary, microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring between, until the mixture reaches 110°F.
03 -
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
04 -
Add softened butter, a tablespoon at a time, mixing until fully incorporated and the dough becomes smooth.
05 -
Knead the dough by hand or use a stand mixer with a dough hook for about 5 minutes until it’s soft and elastic.
06 -
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
07 -
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
08 -
Cover the buns and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
09 -
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Brush the buns with a beaten egg for a glossy finish.
10 -
Bake the buns for 15-18 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
