01 -
Grease a 23x33 cm baking dish with butter or non-stick spray to ensure easy release of the treats.
02 -
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat, stirring occasionally to avoid browning.
03 -
Add 450 g mini marshmallows to the melted butter. Stir continuously until marshmallows are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
04 -
Remove pot from heat and stir in vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
05 -
Quickly add Rice Krispies cereal and broken graham crackers to the marshmallow mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
06 -
Gently fold in 170 g chocolate chips (1 cup) and 60 g extra mini marshmallows (1 cup). Mix until distributed; some chocolate chips will partially melt.
07 -
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Using a greased spatula or wax paper, press mixture evenly into the pan.
08 -
Sprinkle remaining mini marshmallows (1 cup) and chocolate chips (approximately 45 g or 0.25 cup) evenly over the surface.
09 -
Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for 1-2 hours until fully set.
10 -
Cut the set mixture into squares. For a campfire experience, skewer a square on a roasting stick and heat over open flame until golden and warm. Exercise caution as filling becomes hot.
