Caramel Apple Pie Bombs (Print-Friendly Version)

Soft biscuit dough filled with apple, caramel, and cinnamon sugar, perfectly fried for a warm, gooey treat.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Dough and Filling

01 - 1 can (7.5 ounces, approximately 213 grams) biscuit dough, separated
02 - 1 can (21 ounces, approximately 595 grams) apple pie filling
03 - 10 individually wrapped caramels, each sliced in half

→ Coating and Frying

04 - 1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar
05 - 2 to 3 teaspoons (5 to 7.5 grams) ground cinnamon
06 - Vegetable oil, sufficient for deep frying (approximately 2.4 liters)

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
02 - Pour approximately 2.4 liters of vegetable oil into a heavy skillet. Heat oil over medium heat until it reaches proper frying temperature.
03 - Open the biscuit dough can and separate each biscuit. Using the palm of your hand, gently flatten each biscuit into a disc.
04 - Place 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center of each flattened biscuit. Add two halves of sliced caramel on top of the filling. Carefully pull the dough edges together to seal, pinching firmly, then roll into a uniform ball.
05 - Using a slotted spoon, gently lower up to two dough balls at a time into the hot oil. Fry, turning continuously, until all sides are golden brown.
06 - Remove fried bombs with a slotted spoon and immediately roll them in the prepared cinnamon sugar mixture to coat thoroughly. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool slightly.
07 - Serve warm as is, or drizzle with additional caramel sauce and top with whipped cream if desired.

# Extra Information:

01 - It is essential to seal the dough fully to prevent filling leakage during frying. For best results, fry only a few bombs at a time to maintain oil temperature.
