Holiday Chai Snickerdoodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 2 cups all purpose flour
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
04 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
05 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
06 - 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
07 - 1/4 tsp ground cloves
08 - 1/4 tsp salt
09 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
10 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
11 - 1 tbsp high quality molasses
12 - 1 large egg, room temperature

→ Chai Spiced Sugar

13 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
14 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
15 - 3/4 tsp ground ginger
16 - 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
17 - 1/2 tsp ground allspice

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Combine cream of tartar, baking soda, spices, and flour.
03 - Blend melted butter, egg, molasses and sugar until well combined.
04 - Combine wet and dry ingredients. Dough will be crumbly.
05 - Mix sugar with spices for coating. Adjust spices to taste.
06 - Roll dough into 12 balls, coat in spiced sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes.
