01 -
Mix the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast in a big bowl. Let this sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until it foams up.
02 -
Take the dough that's risen and roll it into a rectangle that's about 9 by 13 inches. Carefully move it over to the lined baking sheet.
03 -
Drizzle the melted butter evenly on top of the dough. Then add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Spread the mozzarella cheese and any other cheese you’re using evenly. If you like, sprinkle a bit of red pepper flakes or flaky salt on top.
04 -
Place a towel over the dough and let it rise in a warm spot for 45 to 60 minutes until it's doubled in size.
05 -
Set your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
06 -
Pop the breadsticks in the oven and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges turn a nice golden brown.
07 -
If you want, brush them with extra melted butter after they come out. Cut them into strips and enjoy while they're warm with marinara, ranch, or garlic dipping sauce.
08 -
In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it’s foamy.
