Cheesy Sausage Bites (Print Version)

Fluffy pancake snacks packed with sausage, cheese, and maple for a simple, fast, and satisfying breakfast option.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup cheese, shredded
02 - ¼ cup syrup (maple)
03 - 1 ½ cups water
04 - 2 cups dry pancake mix
05 - 1 pound ground breakfast sausage

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and let it heat up.
02 - Put the sausage into a pan and cook it on medium heat. Break it apart as it cooks, so it becomes crumbled. Cook it all the way through for about 10 minutes.
03 - When the sausage is cooked and has no pink left, take it out of the pan and put it in a bowl nearby.
04 - Stir the water and pancake mix in a bowl until combined, but don’t overdo it. Add cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and maple syrup. Gently fold them in using a spoon.
05 - Scoop roughly a tablespoon of your mix into each mini muffin spot in the pan.
06 - Bake the filled muffin pan in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. They’re done when the tops are golden brown and cooked all the way through.
07 - Repeat the baking process until you’ve used up all the batter. You’ll have about 48 mini bites. Serve with extra maple syrup if you want, and dig in!
