Set your oven to 400°F and let it heat up.

Put the sausage into a pan and cook it on medium heat. Break it apart as it cooks, so it becomes crumbled. Cook it all the way through for about 10 minutes.

When the sausage is cooked and has no pink left, take it out of the pan and put it in a bowl nearby.

Stir the water and pancake mix in a bowl until combined, but don’t overdo it. Add cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and maple syrup. Gently fold them in using a spoon.

Scoop roughly a tablespoon of your mix into each mini muffin spot in the pan.

Bake the filled muffin pan in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. They’re done when the tops are golden brown and cooked all the way through.

Repeat the baking process until you’ve used up all the batter. You’ll have about 48 mini bites. Serve with extra maple syrup if you want, and dig in!
