Cheesy Spinach Pasta (Print Version)

Spinach and cheese-filled pasta baked in tomato sauce, bubbling and golden, with plenty of melty mozzarella.

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups Tomato Sauce (store-bought or homemade)
02 - 1 Egg
03 - 2 cups Ricotta Cheese
04 - 3 cups Hand-Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
05 - 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
06 - ¼ cup Frozen Spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
07 - 8 oz Manicotti Pasta, cooked just enough to stay firm
08 - 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
09 - 1 tablespoon Italian Spice Blend
10 - 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
11 - Salt and Pepper to your taste

# Steps:

01 - Get your oven heating up to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Take a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and spread out 2 cups of tomato sauce evenly across the bottom.
03 - In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta, 2 cups of mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and the Italian blend. Stir until it all looks combined.
04 - Spoon the spinach and cheese mixture into the middle of the manicotti shells.
05 - Put the filled manicotti in a row inside the baking pan. Pour the rest of the tomato sauce over the top, then sprinkle on the leftover mozzarella cheese.
06 - Slide your dish into the oven and bake it for 20 to 30 minutes. Check to see if it's bubbling and fully warmed up.
07 - Let it cool down for a couple of minutes. Add parsley on top if you'd like, and enjoy it warm.
