Cheesy Taco Cups Snack Bake (Print-Friendly Version)

Bite-sized biscuit cups filled with taco-seasoned beef and cheese, topped for easy snacking or quick meals.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 450 grams ground beef
02 - 1 package canned biscuit dough (approximately 8 biscuits, 340 grams total)
03 - 28 grams taco seasoning (1 standard packet)
04 - 100 grams cheddar cheese, hand shredded

→ Toppings

05 - Sour cream, to serve
06 - Diced tomatoes, to serve
07 - Shredded lettuce, to serve

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C and grease a standard muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Separate biscuits and carefully split each horizontally to create thinner disks. Press each half into the muffin tin wells, ensuring dough covers bottom and sides.
03 - Heat a medium skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
04 - Add taco seasoning and required water as per packet instructions. Stir well and simmer until thickened.
05 - Reduce heat to low and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and combined.
06 - Evenly spoon beef and cheese mixture into prepared biscuit cups.
07 - Bake in preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, until biscuit cups are golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
08 - Allow taco cups to cool slightly. Carefully lift each cup from the muffin tin using a butter knife if needed.
09 - Top each cup with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce. Serve warm.

# Extra Information:

01 - For best results, shred cheddar cheese from a block for optimal melt and texture.
02 - Split biscuits evenly to ensure they bake through without raw centers.
