Chocolate Chip Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 ripe bananas
02 - 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
03 - 1/2 cup organic cane sugar
04 - 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/2 cup vegan semisweet chocolate chips

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
02 - In a large bowl, add the ripe bananas and mash with the back of a fork until smooth. Add in the oil and stir until well combined.
03 - Add the sugar, apple sauce, vanilla, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until the batter is evenly combined.
04 - Add in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and mix. Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
05 - Bake for 55 minutes to an hour, until a toothpick comes out clean.
06 - Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.

01 - Don’t have ripe bananas? You can quickly ripen bananas in the oven.
