Chocolate Oatmeal No-Bake (Print Version)

Easy no-bake treats with chocolate, oats, and peanut butter.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons butter
02 - 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
03 - ⅔ cup oats
04 - 3 tablespoons peanut butter
05 - ¼ teaspoon vanilla
06 - 2 tablespoons milk
07 - ⅓ cup sugar

# Steps:

01 - Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Add the butter, milk, cocoa powder, and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat.
03 - Whisk to combine and heat the mixture until the sugar has dissolved.
04 - Remove the saucepan from the heat, and stir in the vanilla, peanut butter, and oats until well combined.
05 - Drop spoonfuls of the mixture on the parchment-lined baking sheet, and chill until the cookies have hardened.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Measure the ingredients accurately. When measuring ingredients like cocoa powder and oatmeal, use a spoon to gently scoop into the cup, leveling it off with a knife or finger.
02 - Adjust the butter. If your cookies are too soft, increase the butter or add more peanut butter.
03 - Use a cookie scoop. For perfectly round cookies, portion out the mixture onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets with a cookie scoop.
04 - Press down on each cookie mound with your fingertips to flatten them slightly.
05 - Let chill for at least 20 minutes.
