Cinnamon Sausage Snack (Print Version)

Golden cinnamon rolls stuffed with sausages and finished with a maple drizzle for a sweet-meets-savory combo.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup powdered sugar
02 - 4 tablespoons butter
03 - 1/4 cup maple syrup
04 - 15 to 20 pre-cooked sausage links (regular or turkey work great)
05 - 1 can store-bought cinnamon rolls, refrigerated

# Steps:

01 - Heat the oven to 325°F. Lay some parchment paper on a baking tray and keep it handy.
02 - Take each cinnamon roll, open it up, and cut it into 3 or 4 smaller strips depending on how many sausages you’re working with.
03 - Grab a strip of dough and roll it snugly around each sausage link. Place these on the lined baking tray.
04 - Let them bake for about 20–25 minutes, or until the wrapped dough has turned a nice golden color.
05 - In a bowl, melt the butter and mix it with maple syrup. Slowly stir in the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
06 - Pour or drizzle the glaze over the baked rolls while they’re warm, then serve them right away.
