Cocoa Fudge Microwave Candy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 32 oz powdered sugar
02 - 1 cup cocoa powder
03 - 16 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
04 - 1/2 cup milk
05 - 1 1/2 cups chopped toasted walnuts
06 - 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Line a 15 x 10-inch baking sheet or a 13 x 9-inch pan with foil, leaving excess hanging over the edges for easy removal.
02 - In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Stir thoroughly to dissolve lumps, or sift the mixture for best results.
03 - Pour milk over the sugar mixture without stirring. Cut butter into cubes and place them on top of the milk.
04 - Lightly cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a paper towel. Microwave on high for 3–5 minutes until butter is completely melted, checking progress every minute after the 3-minute mark.
05 - Remove from microwave and stir until the mixture becomes smooth and shiny. Ensure all sugar is fully incorporated.
06 - Mix in vanilla extract and chopped toasted walnuts until evenly distributed.
07 - Spread the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Refrigerate until fully cooled and set.

# Notes:

01 - Use a 13 x 9-inch pan for thicker fudge.
