Coconut Coffee Cot Dua (Print-Friendly Version)

Rich Vietnamese coffee and creamy coconut milk make a sweet and aromatic beverage for any gathering.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Coconut Milk Mixture

01 - 10-15 grams sweetened condensed milk, adjust to your taste
02 - 80 millilitres coconut milk

→ Coffee Preparation

03 - 135 millilitres hot water (around 90-95°C)
04 - 2 tablespoons Vietnamese ground coffee

# How to Make It:

01 - If you want, you can froth the brewed coffee either with an electric frother or by shaking it in a jar that’s tightly sealed.
02 - In a serving cup, pour in the warmed coconut milk mixture. Slowly add the frothed coffee and foam on top of that. Enjoy right away.
03 - Gently set the filter press over the coffee grounds and give it a light press. Drizzle 15 millilitres of hot water over the coffee. Wait for about 20-30 seconds for it to bloom.
04 - Pour the rest of the hot water into the filter chamber. Cover it with the phin cap and let the coffee drip for about 4 minutes until it's done. Take out the filter.
05 - Mix coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk in a small saucepan. Warm it over medium-low heat, stirring until you see steam and tiny bubbles, but don’t let it boil.
06 - Put the phin filter’s cup spanner over a glass. Evenly distribute the Vietnamese ground coffee inside the filter chamber.

# Extra Information:

02 - Feel free to tweak the coffee and water amounts to get the strength you like.
03 - If you have any leftover coconut milk mix, save it to drizzle on top for a nice look.
