Cranberry Christmas Cocktail (Print-Friendly Version)

Sweet-tart cranberry and blood-orange create a festive holiday sip with vodka and cheerful garnishes.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Cocktail Mixture

01 - 90 ml cranberry juice cocktail
02 - 60 ml blood-orange juice, freshly squeezed from 1 large blood-orange
03 - 45 ml vodka
04 - 15 ml simple syrup
05 - Ice cubes

→ Optional Garnishes

06 - Simple syrup, for rimming glass
07 - Super fine granulated sugar, for rimming glass
08 - Thinly sliced blood-orange
09 - Fresh rosemary sprig
10 - Cinnamon stick, food grade
11 - Fresh cranberries

# How to Make It:

01 - Fill a cocktail shaker with approximately ¾ cup ice. Add cranberry juice cocktail, blood-orange juice, vodka, and simple syrup. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
02 - If desired, rim a 300 ml (10 oz) low-ball glass with simple syrup and super fine sugar by dipping the edge in syrup, then in sugar. Fill the glass with approximately ½ cup fresh ice.
03 - Strain the chilled cocktail mixture into the prepared glass over ice.
04 - Garnish with a thin blood-orange slice, a fresh rosemary sprig, a cinnamon stick, and 3–4 fresh cranberries as desired.

# Extra Information:

01 - For a larger batch, combine 950 ml cranberry juice cocktail, 710 ml blood-orange juice, 355 ml vodka, and 120 ml simple syrup in a 2.5-litre pitcher. Stir thoroughly and chill up to 24 hours. Add ice to glasses when ready to serve.
