In a bowl, mix the shrimp with Cajun seasoning to coat them well.

In a big pot, heat salted water and cook fettuccine until it's al dente. Save 60 ml of the pasta water, then drain the rest and set the pasta aside.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until they’re cooked through and slightly browned. Take shrimp out and set aside.

Add the cooked shrimp and fettuccine back to the skillet. Toss everything gently until it’s all coated in sauce.

Lower the heat to medium in the skillet. Stir in the heavy cream and add grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce thickens. Gradually add the reserved pasta water to get the texture you like.
