→ Vegetables

02 - 1 pound of fresh chopped tomatoes or a 14-ounce can of chopped tomatoes
03 - 1 finely chopped onion
04 - 3 cloves of minced garlic

→ Liquids

05 - 2 cups of chicken or vegetable stock
06 - 3/4 cup of heavy cream

→ Oils and Fats

07 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil

→ Herbs

08 - 1/2 bunch of fresh basil

# How to Make It:

01 - Toss in the minced garlic and finely chopped onion. Stir gently and cook until soft, aromatic, and clear.
02 - In a medium high-sided skillet, heat the olive oil over medium for 2 minutes.
03 - Dish the pasta into bowls and add extra fresh basil if you want. Enjoy right away.
04 - Mix in the chopped tomatoes. Sauté until they start to caramelize, stirring now and then.
05 - Let it cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time, until the pasta's firm to the bite and most of the liquid is soaked up.
06 - Pour in the stock and mix in the uncooked spaghetti, making sure it’s fully covered by the liquid.
07 - Turn the heat down low. Carefully mix in the heavy cream and torn fresh basil. Let sit for two minutes to blend the flavors.

# Extra Information:

01 - Swap out chicken stock for vegetable stock if you want it vegetarian. For a lighter taste, you can use half-and-half or a mix of milk and butter in place of the heavy cream.
