05 - 225–340 grams fresh mushrooms, quartered

# How to Make It:

01 - Line the slow cooker with a liner or grease thoroughly to prevent sticking.
02 - Place stew beef, red wine, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and quartered mushrooms in a bowl. Mix until ingredients are evenly coated.

05 - Stir before serving. Optionally serve over cooked noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.

# Extra Information:

01 - Do not reduce the cooking time; slow cooking for at least 10 hours ensures tender results.
02 - Fresh white or baby bella mushrooms are both suitable for extended cooking.
03 - For optimal texture, use large mushroom quarters or halves.
04 - Ensure beef is fully thawed before cooking to prevent extended cook times.
05 - Cooking times may vary depending on your appliance; adjust as needed.
06 - Cranberry juice may be substituted for red wine if preferred.
