# Ingredients:

→ Batter Ingredients

01 - 1 cup whole milk
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
04 - 1 cup pancake mix (e.g., Bisquick)

→ Main Ingredients

05 - 18-ounce package Oreo cookies

→ Frying

06 - Vegetable oil for frying

# Steps:

01 - Heat about 4 inches of vegetable oil in a deep saucepan or skillet over medium heat to 350°F (175°C). Use a candy thermometer to monitor the temperature.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil. Gradually add the pancake mix and stir until smooth. Batter should be thick enough to coat the cookies but not runny.
03 - Remove Oreos from the package. Using a fork, dip each cookie into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
04 - Carefully drop 2-3 coated Oreos at a time into the hot oil. Fry for about 1-2 minutes per side until the coating is golden brown. Do not overcrowd the pan.
05 - Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried Oreos and let them drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
06 - Repeat the frying process with the remaining cookies. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - To check batter consistency, dip an Oreo into the batter and lift it out slowly. The layer should fully coat the cookie without dripping excessively or leaving gaps.
