Put butter in a big pan over medium heat and let it melt. Toss in the chopped onion, celery, and peppers. Give them 7-8 minutes to soften while stirring occasionally.

Add both the ground beef and pork sausage. Let them cook thoroughly until they’re no longer pink. Drain the grease before moving on.

Sprinkle the Cajun blend, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the cooked meat. Pour in the chicken broth and stir it all together with the instant rice. Cover the pan with a lid.

Let it gently simmer. Keep stirring every so often until the rice is tender and all the liquid is gone. Serve it warm and dig in!
