Easter Dirt Cake Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreos, crushed
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
03 - 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup powdered sugar
05 - 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
06 - 3 1/2 cups cold milk
07 - 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, thawed
08 - 1 bag of candy-coated chocolate eggs
09 - Optional: gummy worms, for decoration

# Instructions:

01 - Crush the Oreos in a large bowl and set aside.
02 - In another bowl, beat together the butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until well blended and thickened. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken further.
04 - Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until well combined.
05 - In a 9×13-inch casserole dish, layer half of the crushed Oreos to form the base. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the Oreo layer. Carefully spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer. Top with the remaining crushed Oreos, covering the pudding layer completely.
06 - Decorate the top with candy-coated chocolate eggs and optional gummy worms to create a festive Easter garden scene.
07 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, before serving to allow the layers to set.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the cream cheese and butter are softened for a smooth mixture.
02 - For a colorful variation, use pastel-colored Oreos or additional sprinkles for decoration.
03 - Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
