Rich Fizzy Root Beer Float (Print-Friendly Version)

Classic float of vanilla ice cream in fizzy root beer, finished with whipped topping and a cherry.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Float

01 - 3 small scoops (approximately 45 g) French vanilla ice cream
02 - 210 ml cold A&W root beer or other root beer

→ Garnish

03 - 1 squirt extra creamy whipped topping
04 - 1 maraschino cherry
05 - Chocolate sauce drizzled on glass interior (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - If desired, drizzle chocolate sauce on the inside of a 350 ml glass, rotating the glass to coat the sides evenly.
02 - Place three small scoops of French vanilla ice cream into the prepared glass. Use a scoop approximately 4 cm in diameter for accuracy.
03 - Slowly pour cold root beer into the glass at an angle to minimize excess foam, allowing the soda to flow gently over the ice cream.
04 - Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.

# Extra Information:

01 - Chill your glass in the freezer for 15 minutes before assembling for an extra frosty result.
02 - If root beer creates excess foam, gently skim off with the back of a butter knife for a smoother drink.
03 - Mini soda cans ensure optimal freshness and portion control for single servings.
