Flamin' Hot Cheetos Mac Cheese (Print-Friendly Version)

Crispy fried sandwich loaded with Flamin' Hot Cheetos mac and layers of gooey melted cheese.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

01 - 1.9 litres vegetable oil, for deep frying

→ Macaroni Filling

02 - 1 box (approx. 200 grams) Flamin' Hot Cheetos Macaroni and Cheese, prepared
03 - 200 grams Cheddar cheese, shredded
04 - 200 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Bread and Cheese Layers

05 - 8 slices American cheese
06 - 4 slices sandwich bread, toasted

→ Breading Station

07 - 250 grams plain flour
08 - 3 large eggs
09 - 120 millilitres whole milk
10 - 240 grams Flamin' Hot Cheetos, crushed into fine crumbs

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-based skillet to 190°C.
02 - Cook the Flamin' Hot Cheetos Macaroni and Cheese according to the package instructions. Stir in the shredded Cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and fully combined.
03 - Place two slices of American cheese on a slice of toasted bread. Spoon a generous portion of the hot macaroni mixture over the cheese. Top with two additional slices of American cheese and close with a second toasted bread slice. Repeat to make a second sandwich.
04 - Set up three bowls: flour in the first, beaten eggs combined with milk in the second, and crushed Flamin' Hot Cheetos crumbs in the third.
05 - Coat each assembled sandwich in flour, dip into the egg wash, and press into the Cheetos crumbs until fully coated. Repeat the process a second time for a thicker crust if desired.
06 - Carefully submerge the breaded sandwiches into the hot oil. Fry for 2–3 minutes until the exterior is crisp and deep red. Remove and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil before serving.
