Set your oven to 450°F. Place some parchment paper on a baking tray.

Slice the Italian bread open along its length. Remove a bit of the softer middle part, then press down to make a shallow well and leave a border.

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a nonstick skillet on medium-high. Break up the turkey into crumbles as you cook it. Add salt and the Italian seasoning to flavor it.

Stir the marinara sauce into the pan with the turkey. Let everything heat through for a couple of minutes.

Spread about a cup of meat sauce over each piece of bread. Sprinkle about a cup of shredded cheese on top, and evenly scatter the pepperoni slices.

Bake for roughly 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is gooey and melted. Cut into pieces and serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
