Fresh Peach Fritters Glaze (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fritters

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 3/4 cup whole milk
08 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
09 - 2 cups peeled and diced fresh peaches
10 - Vegetable or canola oil for frying

→ Glaze

11 - 1 cup powdered sugar
12 - 2 tablespoons milk
13 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Peel and dice fresh peaches. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat eggs, then stir in milk and vanilla.
04 - Combine wet and dry ingredients just until mixed. Gently fold in the diced peaches.
05 - Add oil to a deep frying pan or Dutch oven until about 5 cm deep. Heat to 175°C.
06 - Drop heaping tablespoons of batter into the hot oil. Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Avoid overcrowding the pan. Remove fritters using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
07 - Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
08 - Drizzle glaze over warm fritters or dip the tops directly into the glaze.
