01 -
Set your oven to 375℉ and lightly coat a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish with some grease or nonstick spray.
02 -
Take one can of biscuits, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and spread across the casserole dish. Pop it into the oven for 12–15 minutes, just enough to cook them halfway.
03 -
In a large skillet, cook your ground pork or sausage until browned and crumbled. Once done, drain off the grease and scatter this on top of the biscuits.
04 -
Use the same pan to heat up the canned sausage gravy. Stir now and then on medium heat until it gets a slight golden-brown color. Pour the gravy over the meat layer in the dish.
05 -
Sprinkle some black pepper on top of the sausage gravy once you’ve poured it in.
06 -
Cut the biscuits from the second can and neatly place them in one layer directly over everything in the dish.
07 -
Let it cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover it with foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes.
08 -
After baking, brush the top layer of biscuits with melted butter for a golden finish.
