Roll the pastry sheet tightly into a log shape and cut it into 12 equal slices.

Brush the beaten egg over the surface of each pinwheel to ensure a golden-brown finish.

Arrange the pinwheels in the prepared muffin tray and transfer them to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
