Ham and Cheese Pastry Pinwheels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 400 grams puff pastry roll, thawed
02 - 100 grams sliced ham
03 - 100 grams cheddar cheese, grated
04 - ½ teaspoon chili flakes
05 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
06 - Salt and pepper to taste
07 - 1 egg, beaten

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tray with parchment paper.
02 - Place the puff pastry sheet on a cutting board. Spread an even layer of sliced ham and grated cheddar cheese on top. Sprinkle chili flakes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper over the layers.
03 - Roll the pastry sheet tightly into a log shape and cut it into 12 equal slices.
04 - Brush the beaten egg over the surface of each pinwheel to ensure a golden-brown finish.
05 - Arrange the pinwheels in the prepared muffin tray and transfer them to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
06 - Remove from the oven and carefully lift the pinwheels out of the muffin tray. Serve warm and enjoy!

01 - Ensure your puff pastry is fully thawed before rolling to prevent cracks. Use quality ham and cheese for maximum flavor. Avoid overfilling to prevent sogginess.
