Take a piece of sourdough bread and layer it with ham and pineapple. Sprinkle some dried oregano and cover it all with a healthy handful of shredded cheese. Place the second slice of bread on top, then sprinkle extra cheese over it if you’d like.

Melt salted butter in a cast iron pan or nonstick skillet over medium heat until it’s fully melted.

Put the sandwich in the heated pan, keeping the side with extra cheese facing upward. Let it cook for about 3-5 minutes until the bottom gets golden and crispy.

Carefully turn the sandwich so the cheesy side is now touching the pan. Let this side cook for another 3-5 minutes until the outside turns golden and crunchy, and the cheese inside is gooey and melted.

Move the finished sandwich to a plate and serve it nice and hot.
