If pistachios are not already shelled, remove all shells and any skins that easily peel off.

Place the pistachios in a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend and stop every few minutes to scrape down the sides.

For crunchy pistachio butter, blend for about five minutes. For creamy texture, continue blending for approximately 20 minutes.

Once the desired texture is achieved, add spices, salt, or sweetener as preferred. Blend again until well combined.
