Put the chicken breasts at the bottom of the Instant Pot. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper.

Combine honey, soy sauce, the chopped onions, ketchup, cooking oil, minced garlic, and chili flakes in a small bowl. Mix well.

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set it to the MEAT mode for 20 minutes. When done, quickly release the pressure.

Remove the chicken pieces from the pot, but leave the sauce behind.

In another bowl, stir together the cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mix to the sauce in the Instant Pot, switch to SAUTE mode, and stir constantly for 5 minutes until it thickens up.

Cut the cooked chicken into smaller chunks and toss them back in the thickened sauce.

Top the dish with sesame seeds before serving with rice or noodles. Add extra chili flakes for more of a kick if you'd like.
