Iced Tea Blueberry Refresh (Print-Friendly Version)

Cool iced tea with fresh blueberries, lightly sweetened and brightened with lemon.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Tea Base

01 - 6 to 8 cups of cold water (1.4 to 1.9 litres), use 6 for a 2 litre pitcher, 8 for a 2.5 litre pitcher
02 - 3 to 4 family-size cold brew tea bags (Luzianne preferred), use 4 for a stronger brew

→ Blueberry Syrup

03 - 2 cups of fresh blueberries, rinsed (about 300 grams)
04 - 2 cups of water (480 millilitres)
05 - 1 cup of granulated or cane sugar (200 grams)
06 - Juice from half a lemon (around 15 millilitres)

# How to Make It:

01 - Stir the cooled blueberry syrup into the tea pitcher. Mix well until everything's combined. Serve right away in glasses filled with ice.
02 - Pour 6 to 8 cups of cold water into a glass pitcher. Toss in the tea bags and let them steep for 5 minutes. Then take out and throw away the bags.
03 - In a small saucepan, mix blueberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice. Heat everything up until it reaches a full boil on high heat.
04 - After it starts boiling, lower the heat to medium-low. Let it simmer for 15 minutes while stirring now and then.
05 - Take the saucepan off the heat. Strain the blueberry syrup using a fine mesh strainer into a measuring jug, throwing away the solids. Chill the syrup in the fridge to cool down.

# Extra Information:

01 - Keep the prepared iced tea in a glass pitcher in the fridge for up to 3 days to keep it fresh.
