# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
02 - 1 cup Italian dressing
03 - 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
04 - 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
05 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 12 ounces tortellini pasta
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Cheese Sauce Ingredients

08 - 3 tablespoons butter
09 - 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
11 - 2 cups heavy whipping cream
12 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
13 - Salt and black pepper to taste

# Steps:

01 - Add diced chicken to a large bowl and mix with Italian dressing, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
02 - Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and drizzle a little olive oil on the pasta to prevent sticking.
03 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and cook the chicken pieces until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from the skillet.
04 - Reduce skillet heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, whisk in all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add heavy whipping cream while whisking until the sauce thickens and begins to simmer. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until combined into a thick, cheesy sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
05 - Add the cooked chicken and tortellini to the cheese sauce in the skillet. Stir to combine, then serve and enjoy.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - You can substitute the homemade cheese sauce with up to two 15-ounce jars of Alfredo sauce.
