Lemon Cool Whip Cookies (Print Version)

Soft, chewy lemon cookies bursting with citrus, quick to make and delightfully tender with a powdered sugar coating.

# Ingredients:

01 - Lemon cake mix for 9x13-inch cake
02 - 1 egg
03 - 1 ½ cups whipped topping
04 - ¼ cup powdered sugar

# Steps:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, egg, and whipped topping until smooth.
02 - Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
03 - Preheat oven to 350ºF.
04 - Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
05 - Form 1 to 1 ½ inch balls of dough.
06 - Roll each ball of dough in powdered sugar and place them on your prepared baking sheet.
07 - Bake cookies for 10 minutes. They may appear a little soft in the middle, but be sure not to overbake them.
