Fudgy Matcha Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup (227g) salted butter, melted and slightly cooled
02 - 3 large eggs, room temperature
03 - 1 large egg yolk, room temperature
04 - 2 teaspoon (10ml) pure vanilla extract
05 - 2/3 cup (133g) granulated sugar
06 - 1 cup (220g) brown sugar, packed

→ Dry Ingredients

07 - 2 tablespoon (30ml) matcha powder, culinary or ceremonial grade
08 - 1 1/3 cup (167g) all-purpose flour

→ Mix-ins

09 - 1 cup (132g) bittersweet baking chocolate, chopped (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 9x9 pan with parchment, leaving overhang.
02 - Whisk melted butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, yolk, and vanilla, mix well.
03 - Sift matcha and flour into bowl. Fold until just combined. Add optional chocolate.
04 - Bake 20-25 minutes until center is set. Cool in pan 15 minutes, then on wire rack.

01 - Don't overbake for fudgy texture
02 - Keeps 2 days at room temp, 5 days in fridge
03 - Can freeze up to 2 months
