Sweet and Salty Snack Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup butter
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 4 oz bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
04 - 3/4 cup all purpose flour
05 - 1/4 cup dutch process cocoa powder
06 - 2 eggs plus 1 yolk
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ For the Toppings

09 - 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
10 - 1/2 cup pretzels, lightly crushed
11 - 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
12 - Handful of potato chips
13 - 1/4 cup caramel
14 - A few pinches sea salt

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Take it out, stir in the sugar, and microwave again for 30 seconds. Give it another stir and microwave for 60 more seconds until the mixture bubbles slightly.
02 - Pull the bowl out and stir in the chopped bittersweet chocolate until melted. If needed, microwave for another 15 seconds to help it melt completely. Whisk in all remaining brownie ingredients until well combined.
03 - Pour the batter into a parchment-lined 8×8 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, peanuts, and potato chips. Drizzle everything with caramel. Bake for 35-40 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
04 - Let the brownies cool for 20 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper. Sprinkle with sea salt, slice into 9 squares, and enjoy the sweet-salty goodness!
