Cut the sausage into chunky pieces around ½ inch thick. Toss them into a big pan on medium heat until they get nice and browned.

Throw in all the other ingredients, give it a good mix, and get it bubbling over medium-high heat.

Turn the heat low, cover it up, and let it simmer. Stir now and then until the rice is soft and most of the liquid’s gone.
