Sweet Orange Glazed Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 1 pound salmon fillets

→ Glaze

02 - 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (from 1 orange)
03 - 2 tablespoons honey
04 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 teaspoon water (optional)

→ Cooking

07 - 1 tablespoon butter
08 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until melted.
02 - Season salmon with salt and pepper. Place in hot pan skin-side up and cook 3-5 minutes until golden. Flip and cook 3-4 minutes more until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
03 - Transfer salmon to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm. Reduce heat to medium.
04 - Mix orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic and cornstarch mixture if using. Add to hot pan and cook until thickened, about 30-60 seconds.
05 - Return salmon to pan and coat with glaze. Garnish with orange slices if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Use cornstarch slurry for a thicker glaze-like sauce
02 - Leftovers keep in airtight container for 2-3 days
